1. Lifeguard Operations
2. Supervise daily lifeguard operations at pool and beach areas.
3. Ensure adequate lifeguard coverage throughout operating hours.
4. Assign daily duties and monitor work performance.
5. Support the Recreation Manager in daily operations.
6. Guest Safety & Emergency Response
7. Ensure guests are monitored at all times in pool and beach areas.
8. Coordinate rescue operations during emergencies.
9. Perform CPR and First Aid when required.
10. Ensure rescue equipment is operational and properly maintained.
11. Monitor weather, sea conditions, and safety warning flags.
12. Complete accident and incident reports promptly.
13. Pool & Beach Facility Management
14. Ensure pool and beach facilities are ready before opening.
15. Monitor cleanliness and presentation of recreation areas.a
16. Inspect loungers, umbrellas, towels, and guest amenities.
17. Coordinate maintenance requests for recreation facilities.
18. Ensure sufficient operational supplies and equipment.
19. Team Leadership & Development
20. Supervise, coach, and motivate Lifeguard Associates.
21. Conduct on-the-job training and safety briefings.
22. Monitor attendance, grooming, and work discipline.
23. Assist with performance evaluations and development plans.
24. Foster teamwork and a positive working environment.
25. Health, Safety & Compliance
26. Ensure compliance with Resort policies and procedures.
27. Conduct routine safety inspections of pool and beach areas.
28. Ensure Associates comply with safety regulations.
29. Participate in emergency drills and safety training.
30. Administration & Coordination
31. Complete operational reports and departmental records.
32. Monitor inventory of towels, rescue equipment, and supplies.
33. Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, and Front Office.

Education

1. Graduate from Vocational School / College or equivalent or a related field is preferred.
2. Valid Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are mandatory.

Working experience

1. Minimum 1.5-2 years of experience as a Lifeguard or Recreation Associate in an international resort or similar environment.
2. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.

Professional knowledge and skills

1. Strong knowledge of pool and beach operations.
2. Knowledge of lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid procedures.
3. Ability to supervise daily operations.
4. Knowledge of recreation equipment and facility maintenance.
5. Good coaching, communication, and guest service skills.
